Our teacher was severe only in his work, in normal life he is an extremely nice man. He only laughs at what people say. Outside learning period, he behaves very kindly with students. In those moments, we felt as if there is no distance between teacher and students.
I remember during the internship period, we were all worrying about not knowing how to cope away from family. He had moved to BienHoa, VungTau to support us, we were all touched.
During my period of study, all students were poor, which meant that we were forced to skip school to work, and also to have a walk. But that happened rarely for Professor Hoang courses.
May be his teaching method is not the best, but his dedication and sincere way of talking us give us desire to learn. I think even if it is not someone who is skilled in how to speak, is a speaker who can pass the torch to students, helping us to love our job, to see the need to have solid knowledge.
During school hours, he inserted some truths of his life experiences. From time to time he talked about news and events that reflect his patriotism ... At that time, I was too young,
I saw life in pink and still did not understand life. But thanks to him, I thought more deeply, I learned to see life realistically and identified the weaknesses of our society.
Often I did surprise him standing impassively on the balcony of the building B4, looking around with a deeply thoughtful air on whatever topic. Perhaps he was concerned to find the solution to ensure that all will go to the best.
Past year, I met him by surprise at the conference of the East Sea. That day, several times I noticed it shakes, his face flushed with disappointment when he looked into the sacred sea areas of the country which are invaded. He always proves his sensitivity to the love of his country.
I have a brother, he was a student of Professor Hoang past year, he told me that a few days ago there was a person presenting himself as a police officer and came to his dormitory where he resided with a few other students. This person coaxed and pushed students to fill out a form to denounce Professor Hoang. None of them had agreed to follow this inhuman manipulation, some answered frankly: “Do you think the Mapple topic” Pr. Hoang is teaching, is used to make bombs for terrorist attacks?
Even though he was attending a party, or some organization, I am confident that Professor Hoang is an intellectual who loves his country. To say that our professor is a ''terrorist'' is a slander built on purpose
